Tumi

A market leader in high-end luggage, Tumi Inc. appointed Oakdene to furnish their newest store in one of London's most prestigious retail areas: the historic Covent Garden Market.

This five-week project saw the transformation of an empty retail unit into a fully-functioning shop space and involved extensive planning - particularly in the ceiling, where lighting, life safety equipment and sprinkler systems had to be designed and installed around one another to adhere to stringent regulations imposed upon this listed building. Elsewhere in the store, Oakdene worked to maximise Tumi's trading potential: a video wall was completed, touch screens were installed, and a polished tile floor was laid.
