In order to commence fitting this Swedish book chain's Liverpool Street underground station store, Oakdene were required to evidence our full compliance with site-specific regulations enforced within a major London Underground station. This meant providing station management with our tailored Health and Safety package and RAMS, to gain access to the station and commence work on the project.

One of the most vital stages of the fitout process was ensuring the interior of the store was finished in the Pocket Shops signature purple - this meant spray painting the interior in its entirety, and installing purpose-built purple furniture. Revisions were made to the shopfront entrance window frames and roller shutters, and the existing floor level was raised, to allow installation of an oak-finish Amtico floor at level with the station concourse.
